Somebody once asked Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه, “How much love did the Sahaabah رضي الله عنهم really possess for Sayyiduna Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم?” Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه replied, “I take a qasm on Allah Ta’ala, Sayyiduna Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم was more beloved and dearer to us than our riches, our children and our mothers, and his company was more cherished than a drink of cool water at the time of severest thirst.”

REFLECTIONS
The Sahaabah رضي الله عنهم have practically shown the Ummah of Sayyiduna Rasulullah صلی الله عليه وسلم how to love and appreciate Sayyiduna Rasulullah صلی الله عليه وسلم.
May Allah Ta‘ala reward the Sahaabah رضي الله عنهم with the best of rewards, allow us to follow in their noble footsteps and raise us in their company on the Day of Qiyaamah. آمين
