Sayyiduna ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما reports that Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “I had seen a dream wherein I was presented with a utensil of milk. I drank from it and gave the remainder to Hazrat Umar رضي الله عنه. The Sahaabah رضي الله عنهم asked: “O Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم, what is the interpretation for this dream?” Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم replied: “(Milk refers to) Knowledge.”
